Introduction
The methodology used in the survey was as follows:
- To measure the key elements of Member Livery Companies’ and organisations’ 4-year cumulative progress in strategically planning and achieving climate action mitigation steps.
- To gather specific exemplars of successful outcomes and of their impact by selecting a purposive sample of Livery Companies to interview.
- To be able to make some judgements on the success of LCAG as a group supporting the Livery Companies in their climate action work and to identify next steps for which LCAG can offer support.
The survey instrument: The survey was completed online by the Livery’s Single Point of Contact (SPOC) or the Clerk of the Company. These data have been aggregated numerically to provide an overall picture of progress. Anonymity is therefore also maintained.
