Green Aviation – an inter-Livery initiative highlighted at recent seminar

The Financial Services (FS) Club holds regular webinars  and a recent event saw a presentation about green aviation given by the inter-Livery Green Aviation Task Group.  Aviation is a high carbon emitter with initial plans to decarbonise. This seminar challenges the way we are looking at the industry and highlights the role that the City of London can play in leading research and development for a future solution that meets our Paris goals.    The two speakers were members of the Air Pilots Livery, Captain Robert Seaman (founder of the Task Group) and Captain Paul Heathcote.  The presentation is an early look at the work that the Group has considered and sets out a clear understanding of the issues and  the options towards meeting the Paris Agreement requirements.
The Group works cross Livery with representatives from the Scientific Instrument Makers, Engineers, International Bankers, Fuellers, Information Technologists, Fan Makers, Coachmakers, Solicitors, Insurers and Tax Advisers.
