Last year Grocers’ Hall achieved its first Planet Mark certification.
Planet Mark is the most easily internationally-recognised sign of progress in sustainability. By working with Planet Mark, the Grocers’ Hall wants to ensure that they are a force for good: positively transforming society and the planet by measuring its own impact on the environment.
The certification evaluates the commitment to continuous improvement; measuring and reducing a business’ carbon emissions, energy and water consumption, travel and waste.
Valid for one year, the certificate is confirmation that the Grocers’ Company have a base metric to continuous improvements in reducing carbon, which will be continuously improved.
The Grocers are thrilled to now be part of the LCAG initiative working alongside fellow Livery Companies throughout the City.
