Invitation to an online seminar taking place on Tuesday 29th November on the topical subject of Responsible Offsetting.

The guest speakers are Gavin Towers, from the Fueller’s Company and Sam Ramsay.

This will be an opportunity to hear of best practices in the controversial field of carbon offsetting. Gavin and Sam will explain the principles of offsetting, and how the good schemes work in practice, as well as draw attention to the pitfalls and the less responsible schemes that we may have heard about.

Can we really absolve our consciences for our emissions simply by paying someone to plant trees, indefinitely? Or is there far more to offsetting than tree planning?

It will be presented in a Livery context and address the real issues faced by Companies as they tackle the issues of Climate Change and help them decide whether responsible offsetting could be part of their approach.
