With the UK Government committing to achieve Net Zero by 2050 and enshrining new targets in law to slash emissions by 78% by 2035 it is increasingly important that all UK organisations align their strategies to position net zero at the forefront of their activities.
The Livery Climate Action Group has challenged Livery Companies to support the City of London’s Climate Change Strategy by preparing Climate Change Action Plans. This webinar will explain how plastics are an essential component to achieve Net Zero and by looking at plastics on the basis of sound science will help Livery Companies prepare their Action Plans. It will cover the innovations and trends that are taking place within the plastics industry to achieve a circular economy and the commitments it is making to achieve the ultimate goal of Net Zero
The seminar will feature…
Prof Averil McDonald OBE (Emeritus Professor University of Reading & Past Master Fuellers)
Dr Sally Beken (UK Circular Plastics Network Manager and Knowledge Transfer Network)
Adela Putinelu (Senior Sustainability Executive: British Plastics Federation)
I do hope you can join us.
Regards,
