SUMMARY:A Conversation about Sustainability between Dame Polly Courtice and Peter Simpson
DESCRIPTION:This will be a free-flowing conversation between two exceptionally experienced people in the field of sustainability: the founder of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and a former Chief Executive of Anglian Water. Topics they will cover include:\n•\nThe evolution of the sustainability landscape – how politics\, policy\, and corporate attitudes have shifted over the last thirty years\n•\nTackling the competing demands of economic growth\, demographic shifts\, and climate and nature recovery\n•\nWhere is the water industry today and what barriers and opportunities lie ahead?\n•\nWhat defines “sustainability leadership” today – how attitudes have changed and what is required of today’s business leaders to drive genuine change and positive impact\nThis will be followed by an opportunity to network\, with drink refreshments provided.\nThe event is free and by invitation only. Places are limited and available on a first come first served basis.
