SUMMARY:11th LIVERY EDUCATION CONFERENCE FOR HEADTEACHERS
DESCRIPTION:The theme of the conference is “Helping young people enter the job market”. \n  \nOur speakers will include the Director of Education from the Careers and Enterprise Company on their current plans together with an employer who is working with them and a school representative discussing work experience. \n  \nWith space for 50 delegates from interested Livery Companies and 50 senior staff from secondary schools\, the aim is to follow the presentations with collaborative round table discussions\, developing and engendering possible collaboration and action points for the year ahead. Lively debate has informed the outcomes of the previous conferences and new school/Livery links have subsequently been fostered in a range of ways. \n  \nLivery Schools Link (LSL) has built up successful collaboration between Livery Companies and schools e.g. The continuing popularity and steady growth of our annual LSL Careers Showcase Event at Guildhall and the growing use of our HELP careers app. Please visit www.liveryschoolslink.org.uk for more information. \nMore information available here.
