DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to announce an exciting collaboration between the City of London Solicitors’ Company and the Worshipful Company of Insurers to provide Food for Thought with Food at the Old Bailey \n\nWhen: Tuesday 14th June 2022\, 6.30pm\nWhere: The Grand Hall of the Old Bailey\nCost: £99\nDress code: Business dress\n\nBOOK YOUR PLACE HERE  \nAs two industries that are pivotal in advising on and managing the risks associated with Climate Change and helping clients on the path to a sustainable\, Net Zero future\, we wanted to bring our communities together\, to learn more about this crucial issue from each other’s perspective and promote collaboration. \nWe’re particularly thrilled that Alderman and Sheriff Alison Gowman has offered to host this dinner in the extraordinary environs of the Grand Hall of the Old Bailey. Sheriff Gowman leads the Livery Climate Action Group and was pleased to directly support our new initiative. This amazing and unusual venue will only add to what will surely be a great evening of debate\, learning and making new friends and connections. We will have two “fire starter” speakers\, Nick Dunlop from the Worshipful Company of Insurers and Jeff Twentyman of Slaughter and May and we’ll have some questions and challenges on the tables\, to guide the debate and to provide a framework for some reporting back to the floor. We will also try to capture the key points and pass learnings back to our respective members after the event itself\, on a Chatham House Rule basis.
